Salary: £13.00 - £14.00 per hour
Hours: 26 per week plus 2 sleep in shifts
Our client is a happy young adult in Dudley who enjoys close relationships with her care team, she has sensory impairments as a result of a brain injury and knowledge of Makaton is advantageous.
Our client enjoys support to love independently in her own home, and likes to be out and about, bowling, swimming, attending discos and Zumba classes are a few of her favourites.
The role involves supporting the client at home and after college with personal care, therapy activities and ensuring that she has access to and is enjoying leisure activities. Previous experience supporting adults or children with learning difficulties and/or brain injury would be preferred.
Applicants must have a full driving licence and it be possible for us to obtain insurance for you to drive the clients vehicle.
Hours of work:
26 hours per week plus 1-2 x 8 hour sleep in shifts
Rate of pay:
- £13.00 per hour weekdays
- £14.00 per hour weekends
- £19.00 per hour Bank Holidays
- Sleep in shifts are paid an national minimum wage
Due to the nature of the role an enhanced check with the Disclosure and Barring Service is required.
