Job Title: LightingTechnical Specialist

The Role:
Due to continual growth our client based in the Audio Visual and Events Industry, are looking to recruit an experienced LightingTechnical Specialist. Working within the company the Lighting Technical Specialistwill be trusted in taking either an overseeing role or delivery of numerous different types of events to deliver install and control a lighting system on time and within budget.
Alongside an expanding team you will be tasked with planning, preparation and execution of events ensuring that they are staffed correctly to ensure delivery. With a vast array of equipment at your disposal and keeping an eye on budget you will be working directly with supervisors and project managers to ensure our clients get the best.

KeyResponsibilities
- To be able to understand and interpret technical plans and draw them where necessary so that others can understand them well
- To rig, set up, focus and de-rig lighting and related equipment
- To be able to work under pressure to a given timeline/build schedule
- To program/operate lighting consoles to a reasonable standard including Avolites Titan console.
- To act as a "responsible person" on behalf of the Lighting department on site when required
- To supervise other technicians, freelancers and local crew on site
