Are you an experienced Office Manager looking for a role that offers flexibility and the opportunity to make a real impact?

We are working with a small but dynamic business in Aylesbury, with around 30 employees, who are seeking a proactive and organised Office Manager to join their team. This part-time position is perfect for someone who needs to work around school hours or similar.

Key Responsibilities:

As the Office Manager, you will ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the office and essential systems. Your responsibilities will include:

  • IT Administration: Work with Directors and external IT support to manage routine IT tasks, programme changes, and resolve any issues that arise.
  • Facility Administration: Oversee the maintenance and servicing of key office and warehouse equipment, including HVAC systems, electrical systems, and building security. Manage contracts for services such as pest control, cleaning, and waste management.
  • Office Maintenance: Ensure the office environment is safe, clean, and well-stocked. This includes managing cleaning schedules, ordering supplies, and coordinating fire drills and safety checks.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Maintain the company's Health & Safety policies, complete risk assessments, and ensure all employees adhere to legal requirements.
  • HR Support: Assist with recruitment and manage documentation for new starters and leavers.

About You:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in office management, with strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external service providers.
  • A proactive and methodical approach to problem-solving with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong IT literacy and the ability to work independently.
  • Understanding of Health & Safety requirements and experience in ensuring compliance.
