We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Project Manager to join our team in Basildon on a full time permanent basis.

Kingspan Technical Insulation are a leading manufacturer of high performance technical products and systems for pipe and ductwork in building services, HVAC and industrial applications and passive fire protection products.

As the Technical Project Manager you will be responsible for organising and managing the activities for product development and compliance projects, through the change management process. This will include the developments of current products and bringing new products developments to market in addition to helping deliver compliance targets.

Projects will involve working alongside colleagues in Glossop, Basildon and Turnhout Belgium. Occasional travel between the 3 sites may be required in this role.

Responsibilities of our Technical Project Manager

  • Run monthly stage gate meetings to the Senior Leadership Team, recording decisions and providing minutes post meeting
  • Become the super user of the change management software
  • Lead projects from conception through to post launch
  • Provide support to the business in completing assessments and supporting businesses case development on project ideas.
  • Coordinating between multiple departments across the business, managing resources and ensuring timely delivery of projects
  • Help develop the product road map
  • Resolving issues with management and stakeholders
  • Following the company's change management processes and procedures
  • Developing budget and action/ milestone plans
  • Producing accurate and timely reporting of project status

What we are looking for in our Technical Project Manager

You will have:

  • Proven project manager experience
  • Competent to use Microsoft Office software
  • Be a strong team player with a collaborative work ethic
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and inform others
  • Highly motivated with a proven ability to work on their own and alongside others
  • Driving licence

Whilst not essential, the following would be of benefit:

  • Educated to degree level
  • Project management qualifications
  • Experience in manufacturing sector
