My client are looking for an ICT Programme Manager to lead the delivery of a key ICT Programme. This role involves driving the programme to deliver its outputs and outcomes efficiently, managing all aspects of programme management from planning to successful implementation and completion.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Lead delivery across the ICT Programme, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and quality outcomes.
  • Act as a Case Officer on complex/high-profile projects or programmes.
  • Provide line management and mentorship to Project Managers.
  • Manage change proactively and participate in recruitment processes, including leading consultation meetings and interviews.
  • Oversee programme governance and reporting arrangements, ensuring compliance with the Assurance Framework.
  • Define, supervise, control, and close the programme in line with PMO processes.
  • Identify issues and risks affecting programme delivery and propose solutions.
  • Support and guide governance arrangements for component projects.
  • Maintain focus on project outputs and programme outcomes within approved tolerances.
  • Interface with the PMO to ensure accurate and timely programme/project information management.
  • Manage pre and post-project monitoring and evaluation to demonstrate benefits realisation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Relevant professional qualification (PRINCE2 Practitioner, MSP Practitioner, Agile or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in ICT Programme Management.
  • Experience driving projects and/or programmes to successful conclusions within a Prince2 or MSP environment.
  • Experience delivering complex ICT change programmes, including LAN/WAN upgrades, Operating Systems roll-outs, Enterprise Voice systems migrations, Office 365 & SharePoint, cybersecurity, and governance.
  • Knowledge of ICT Security principles and legislation (e.g., GDPR, ISO27001, and PSN).
  • Understanding of stakeholder roles, purposes, and interfaces.
  • Experience leading procurement procedures, preparing tender documentation, tender appraisal, and managing contracts.
