Objectives
- Deliver IFRS consolidation for group reporting to the Logistics and Supply Chain Company Group.
- Provide IFRS and FRS 102 financial accounting guidance for NWE entities.
- Play a key role in the audit of UK entities and preparation of statutory accounts.
- Support the Financial Controller in broader financial controlling activities.

Key Responsibilities

Operations
- Manage part of the Group Reporting function, including the delivery of monthly consolidated financial reports and analysis under IFRS.
- Ensure accounting activities and financial reports comply with statutory requirements and internal policies.
- Produce annual statutory accounts for multiple NWE entities.
- Serve as the key contact with UK external auditors, maintaining a strong professional relationship.
- Maintain internal financial control compliance for group reporting, addressing any deficiencies.
- Act as the technical IFRS accounting lead for NW Europe, providing guidance on technical matters.
- Serve as the primary contact for Group on all NW Europe group reporting matters.
- Oversee group reporting/consolidation systems, leading efforts to improve them.
- Support wider finance activities, including management reporting, budget management, and financial system improvements.
- Assist the Financial Controller in developing and improving financial control procedures and processes.

Person Specification

Essential
- ACA qualified (or equivalent).
- Extensive experience producing consolidated accounts under IFRS, including multiple currencies.
- Qualified Accountant with a strong audit background.
- 8 years of working experience.
- Excellent understanding of group reporting under FRS 102 and IFRS.
- Excellent understanding of UK statutory reporting requirements.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Strong system skills, including data manipulation.
- Very good written and verbal communication.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- High initiative, proactive, hands-on approach.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to set and meet deadlines and work independently.
- Meticulous attention to detail.

Desirable:
- Degree educated.
- Prior SAP BPC consolidation experience.
- Trained in Big 4 and transitioned to the industry.
- Spanish language skills.
