Management Accountant

The Management Accountant role within our Finance team is an integral part of the team responsible for and actively contributing towards an efficient and accurate finance function within the company.

Providing accurate and up to date critical financial information to the owners and senior management of the organisation is a fundamental part of this role. Your primary responsibilities involve, but are not restricted to, the monthly preparation, review, and distribution of management accounts, preparation of financial analysis, reconciling accounts and scrutinisation of accounts postings.

Management accounts are considered by the organisation as key reporting for monitoring business performance and thus this role is pivotal. In addition, you will be responsible for supporting the management team in the preparation of financial information for senior management.

About you

We're looking for someone who has previously acted in a similar Finance role, who is a self-starter and is experienced in preparing management accounts. You'll have good communication, time management and organisational skills. Attention to detail, a robust view on internal financial control and a tenacious nature are also essential aptitudes required to ensure success within the role.

You are likely to be a qualified Accountant, ideally with at least 3 years PQE.

The role is based in Hexham and you must be able to travel to the office 3 days per week.
