Infrastructure Architect
Circa £85,000 + £5k car allowance
Hybrid - 1 day per week onsite - The choice of 3 sites across the UK
We are representing an innovative and digitally inspired retailer (circa 10k employees) who are looking for an Infrastructure Architect to join their high performing team. You shall be responsible for providing technical solution designs and implementation guidance on their network and cloud technologies. They are undergoing a cloud first journey so you shall have a significant influence on migrating their on-premise infrastructure over to Microsoft Azure.
You'll be responsible for defining and ensuring that the infrastructure elements of solution design comply with best practice throughout project design, delivery and into support. Moreover, you shall maintain an accurate set of architectural assets including as-is views, roadmaps, best practices, and standards across their infrastructure platforms.
Key skills/experience we are looking for:
- Extensive experience working with on-premise and Azure infrastructure.
- Previous experience working as an Architect.
- An understanding of networking standards e.g. IPSEC, GRE, HTTP/S, DNS, BGP.
- An understanding of virtualisation and containerisation technologies.
- Ideally AZ-305 certified.
