Are you an account assistant or similar, ready to step into a new position, where you will have a highly varied role within a successful engineering company, working with a vibrant and friendly team which will support you to develop your skills further with paid qualifications?

You will be responsible for a number of key financial tasks including taking responsibility for the sales ledger as well as helping to manage the day-to-day financials of the business, where you will be managing sales invoices, balance ledger, CIS, alongside working with the financial manager on month end reporting.
The role:
- Taking responsibility for the day-to-day sales ledger, including processing accurate sales invoices and proforma
- Updating invoice trackers and liaising with the production managers to ensure all invoicing is captured in a timely manner
- Process monthly company credit card and other expense claims
- Reconciling customer accounts
- Maintaining the fixed asset register
- Processing purchase invoices for overheads
- Supporting with journals and balance sheet reconciliations
- Other ad hoc duties to support the Financial Manager
- Data entry into Sage
The person:
- AAT level 2 Qualified
- Experienced with Sage
- Sales Ledger Experience Desired
