Management Accountant

What We Offer:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly financial reports, using Xero, perform bank account reconciliations, and maintain the general ledger, including audit trail support for all journal entries and preparing Vat returns where required.
  • Conduct analytical reviews and analysis of financial data, cash flow data, and generate monthly trend reports and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Ensure financial statement accuracy and investigate variances.
  • Prepare and reconcile all bank accounts, resolving any discrepancies.
  • Manage and control intercompany bank transfers, ensuring all regular payment commitments are fulfilled in a timely manner.
  • Research and resolve invoice discrepancies.
  • Assist with annual reviews/audit preparation, and liaise with external accountants.
  • Perform all related accounting functions required to maintain the general ledger in compliance with GAAP and company policies.
  • Implement and strengthen processes and controls to improve reporting and accounting accuracy.
  • Support various ad hoc projects, influencing senior leadership and analysing scenarios with a solution-oriented mindset.

What We're Looking For:

  • Accountancy qualification or relevant experience.
  • 2-5 years of accounting experience with a demonstrable background.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office and Xero Accounts.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
  • Result-focused and metric-driven, translating priorities into measurable results.
  • Accuracy and commitment to tasks, working well within a team environment and independently.
