**Management Accountant

- Location: Sutton, Surrey
- Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum + company bonus
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week (9am to 5pm with one hour for lunch)
We are seeking a Management Accountant to join a well-established family-owned company in the gaming industry. This role is a fantastic opportunity for a part-qualified accountant with practical experience in accounting functions to support the Finance Manager in all reporting aspects of the Finance department.
**Day to day of the role:
- Work closely with the Finance Manager to achieve key objectives.
- Daily posting and reconciliation of cash transactions.
- Produce monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Oversee monthly B2C sales input into SAP and assist with moving to automated integration.
- Assist with the monthly preparation of management accounts and commentary.
- Act as a key liaison with US-based accountants for timely reporting and assist with consolidation of UK and US results.
- Assist with the annual budget process and work with department heads to track actual spend versus budget and reforecast spend.
- Compile and report monthly management accounts and commentary.
- Track and report weekly revenues against targets.
- Handle statutory reporting to HMRC and other bodies as required.
- Maintain effective credit control and ensure compliance with credit insurance.
- Complete quarterly licensor royalty statements and maintain/improve the royalty database.
- Prepare payments in Bankline and handle multi-currency transactions with CorPay.
- Lead preparations for the audit under Finance Manager supervision and liaise with auditors.
- Provide cover during the Finance Manager and Accounts Assistant's leave.
- Ensure accurate and timely entries into SAP.
- Perform occasional filing/archiving and other ad hoc accounting duties.
- Assist with company-wide activities and participate in cross-departmental projects.
**Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Part-qualified accountant with practical experience in accounting functions.
- Highly numerate and proficient in maths.
- Experience in period-closing and meeting reporting deadlines.
- Good computer skills, particularly Excel; experience with accounting systems (SAP preferred but not essential).
- Familiarity with foreign currency and consolidation is a plus.
- Analytical, methodical, and process-oriented with close attention to detail.
- Ability to work proactively, on own initiative, and as part of a team.
- Patient, level-headed, and confident when engaging with external partners.
- Adaptable to the demands of a fast-growing company.
