We are delighted to be recruiting for an experienced and process driven Resource Manager to join our clients. You will find yourself working in a Consultancy who specialise in delivering commercial strategies to global high profile companies. As a Resource Manager you will play a pivotal role in the allocation of resources across their projects, ensuring that the right people with the right skills are deployed at the right time. This is a critical role that requires strong organisational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work closely with various stakeholders to ensure project success.
Salary £40K + discretionary annual bonus plus excellent benefits including private healthcare and hybrid working
Key responsibilities for the Resource Manager will include,

  • Supporting the Directors and Senior Consultants in allocating appropriate resource to signed projects to create the project team
  • Collaboration with the project team and other stakeholders to understand resource requirements and project timelines
  • Issue supporting project service agreements for associates and manage the signing off of their invoices against deliverables
  • Liaise with Clients and Programme Manager when required, to coordinate workshop timings, resources and systems
  • Maintain a resource tracker with an overview of resourcing for all live projects and potential highly probable prospects
  • Update all relevant tools with any changes to resourcing days or personnel during the lifecycle of the project
  • Proactively identify any resourcing challenges or gaps and generate solutions to ensure project timeframes are met
  • Maintain regular contact with key associates regarding ongoing availability for future projects
  • Management of an Associate database containing details of all associates including a skills matrix
  • Assist the Head of Operations with any other tasks or projects that may arise across the business

The ideal Resource Manager will need,

  • Previous Resource Management experience
  • Have strong commercial awareness
  • Have excellent communication skills along with the ability to forge strong working relationships
  • Develop and maintain resource forecasting to predict future resource needs for upcoming projects and business growth
  • Excellent verbal/written communications skills are a must
  • Be a natural problem solver, ability
  • Have strong MS office skills & ideally experience of PSA Software

This role would suit an experienced Resource Manager with a flexible, adaptable approach. Experience within a consultancy or similar environment would be advantageous
