Network Installation Engineer (DV CLEARED)

We are seeking a Network Installation Engineer to join our team, focusing on delivery opportunities within the secure Defence and National Security sector. This role requires a proactive individual who understands project technical requirements, can conduct site surveys, update network design/configuration documentation, and handle hands-on building and implementation/configuration work.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Understand the technical requirements of the project.
- Conduct site surveys and update network design/configuration documentation.
- Engage in hands-on building, implementation, and configuration tasks.
- Troubleshoot technical issues during project phases.
- Support live implementations and ensure successful handover to service for all changes.
- Travel to various Fujitsu and customer sites as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Solid understanding of WAN Connectivity and routing protocols.
- Proven experience in the implementation, configuration, and management of both virtual and physical networking solutions.
- Ability to produce complete Logical Designs/Bill of Materials using Build Guides and Work Instructions.
- Hands-on experience in designing, configuring, and troubleshooting Juniper and Catapan networks.
- Capable of 3rd Line support in fault finding and resolution on customer equipment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage multiple stakeholders, take ownership and responsibility, and make quick decisions.
