The Head of Business Development is an exciting opportunity to play a key strategic role for a leading, Dorset based, Care provider.
As a pivotal member of the senior management team, you will innovate and drive business development services by leading the implementation of the organisation's 3-year business growth plan.
Principle duties include:
- Developing new services working in partnership with the commercial team on tender opportunities and pro-active engagement with Commissioners, Investors, Registered Providers at all levels.
- Identifying promising opportunities and led on tender processes both for the renewal of existing contracts and for new work
- Working closely with colleagues in other departments to ensure that tender bids meet requirements around pricing and quality
- Overseeing mobilisation plans for the onboarding of new services / contracts
- Externally represent the company and establish and maintain relationships with commissioners, providers, and potential partners to help position of the company as a thought-leader and innovative service provider across all portfolios
This role requires an accomplished leader who holds demonstrable business development experience within a Health or Social Care setting.
