Day-to-day of the role:
- Prepare accounts and management accounts for a diverse client portfolio.
- Handle bookkeeping, VAT returns, tax computations, and audit tasks efficiently.
- Engage in regular client interactions, providing high-quality service and advice.
- Conduct some on-site client work, fostering strong client relationships.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A minimum of five years' experience in an accountancy practice is essential.
- Strong technical knowledge in accounting principles and tax regulations.
- Excellent communication skills for client-facing interactions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
