Hospitality Trainer/Assessor - Hotels (Trainee or Qualified)

Full training and support will be given to candidates to achieve the Level 3 Award in Education and Training

Location:

Home/Field based - Must be flexible with travel throughout London and Surrey

Salary:

£31,200 - £33,100 (Inclusive of location uplift) - Depending on qualifications

Essential Criteria:

  • Must have experience of working within a Hotel setting at Supervisory level or above (Food and Beverage Manager, Housekeeping or Reception etc.)
  • Ideally have experience of working Back of House within a Restaurant setting, though this is not essential.
  • Ideally hold a NVQ Level 2 or above in Hospitality (for example: Food and Beverage, Food Production, Reception, Housekeeping or Team Leading).
  • Full driving licence and use of own vehicle.
  • Must be flexible with travel.

Duties include:

  • Delivering full Apprenticeship Standards in Hospitality Levels 2/3 to include: Front of House, Food and Beverage Service, Food Production, Reservations and Reception, plus any other front of house related qualifications. Delivery of Back of House related qualifications depending on competency.
  • Delivering via a blended learning approach (Remote/online delivery and some face-to-face learning).
  • Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
  • Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
  • Support, advise and motivate learners.
  • Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner's needs.
  • Meet Assessor KPI's in terms of timely visits, quality paperwork and general administration.

Personal Skills:

  • Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively.
  • Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
