Junior Analyst/Developer - C#, SQL, VBA sought by leading asset management organisation based in London.
**Inside IR35 - 3 days a week onsite**
**Essential Skills, Qualifications
- The successful candidate is expected to have a degree and/or professional qualification.
- IT skills required - Microsoft C#, SQL & VBA
- IT skills nice to have - Exposure to web development using ASP.NET and Angular
- Good knowledge of Object-Oriented programming concepts & Web Application Development
- Able to write good, simple code following an appropriate logical approach to agreed standards (whether for web, database or desktop applications)
- Applies industry standard approaches for configuration management and version control to manage code during build and release
- Good understanding of relational database systems.
- Able to make simple connections between code and defined data sources
- Able to functionally test automated output thoroughly before release to the business
- Follows basic analysis models such as use cases and process maps
- Understands the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and AGILE management approaches
- Can create quality output following organisational and industry good coding practices
- Solves logical problems, seeking assistance when required
- Ability to navigate the business environment to understand business issues related to software development, and to accurately identify and capture business requirements
- A good communicator able to clearly articulate the role and function of software components to a variety of stakeholders
- Ability to work as part of a small team
