This is an exceptional opportunity for someone from a sales background to undertake a role in which you can have a life changing impact upon your clients. You will ideally be an existing Protection Adviser, with a strong focus on quality and the ability to build long standing relationships based upon trust. The key thing is that you are passionate about understanding your clients' needs, and about giving outstanding levels of service to the customer, based on their individual protection requirements.

We can consider applications from those wanting to work on both an employed, and self-employed basis.

You will be provided with leads from a number of existing clients but will also be driving new business and will have a business development focused approach. You will be joining a growing firm with a strong brand, and an excellent reputation in the market.

Working for one of our long-established Mortgage and Protection firms, with offices in London, this could be hybrid role with a mix of home-working and working from the office. It will involve meeting clients both face to face and virtually, having quality consultations about the clients' protection needs. You will be supported by a strong administrative and back-office team so you can really maximise your earning potential and focus on the customer.

Crucially, you will be quality focused, passionate about the importance of great protection advice, hard-working, and willing to go the extra mile to provide a 5-star service to clients.

The role is varied and will evolve over time but key day to day duties will include:

  • Contacting prospective customers regarding their specific protection needs
  • Conducting appointments with clients in a friendly and engaging manner
  • Providing thorough quotations for all client protection requirements
  • Explaining protection products in a concise way and elucidating recommendations at a level each client understands
  • Providing a written recommendation to confirm the best advice to meet the client requirements, following a comprehensive fact-find
  • Assessment and review of existing policies based on changes of circumstances
  • Making recommendations and amendments to existing cover when required
  • Working to gain referrals and to expand your flow of leads by making effective connections
  • Ensuring thorough compliance at all times, keeping accurate records and providing documented reports

What the role offers in return:

  • Generous commission splits and an uncapped OTE
  • A supply of quality leads from a well-established client base
  • Administrative support service to progress your clients cases through to completion
  • Full training on IT and systems used for sourcing and reporting
