Job Title: Estimator - Plumbing & Heating

Location: Wigan office
Remuneration: £30,000 - £45,000

The role of the Estimator - Plumbing & Heating will involve:
- Estimator position dealing with a range of plumbing services primarily into the new build market sector
- Gaining an understanding of project requirements via drawings and client liaison
- Liaise with other Estimators, Quality Manager, Directors and Contracts Managers with pricing of tenders and all associated tender submission work
- Perform quantity take-offs and material pricing to accurately estimate project costs
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing for materials and services
- Present estimates to clients and participate in negotiation discussions as needed
- Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, and project-related documentation
- Stay updated on industry trends & pricing enhance estimating accuracy and efficiency
- Project values range from £100,000 up to £3,000,000
The ideal applicant will be an Estimator - Plumbing & Heating with:
- Must have estimating experience within the HVAC / plumbing & heating market sector
- Must have a technical understanding of plumbing and heating systems
- Ideally will be familiar with new build contracts
- IT literate (Microsoft Office) and strong Excel skills
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbally
- Full UK driving license
- Strong organisation and time management skills
