Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of audit testing and approach when assisting the audit team
- Prepare a basic set of unincorporated or company accounts with reference to the relevant Financial Reporting Standards/Statement of Recommended Practice and legal requirements
- Draft basic corporation tax computations
- Provide support with drafting recommendations to management following audit fieldwork completion
- Attend client meetings in collaboration with the Manager / Partner
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of double entry/bookkeeping
- Sustains awareness of all relevant ISA requirements and internal policies in producing audit files.
- Accurately and efficiently process client accounting information using relevant software
Qualifications and Experience:
- ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in audit Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and auditing procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively Strong leadership and mentoring skills
