Job Title: Aircraft Technician (Interior Lighting Division)

Salary: £24,000.00 to £29,000.00, dependent on experience, industry relevance, and position offered.
Hours: 08:00 to 16:30, Monday to Friday, with a 30-minute lunch break.
**Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Aircraft Component Technician to join our Interior Lighting Division on a full-time. The successful candidate will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of interior lighting units, including fluorescent and LED lighting systems, with a focus on PCB electronic component repair down to discreet component level.
**Responsibilities:
- Perform repairs on interior lighting units, including both fluorescent and LED systems.
- Utilize PCB electronic component repair techniques, addressing issues down to discreet component levels.
- Engage in surface mount soldering (by hand, not machine) as required for various repairs.
- Maintain high standards of quality and safety in all repair activities.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project deadlines.
**Qualifications and Experience:
- Preferred: Previous experience within the aviation industry.
- Considered: Candidates with similar skills from other industries, with an openness to cross-train into aviation.
- Solid engineering experience, particularly in electronic component repair.
- Proficient in surface mount soldering by hand.
