Part Time Administrator

An excellent opportunity has arisen to work for our established client who are based on the outskirts of Thatcham for a Part Time Administrator. This is a term time only position + 6 weeks. The role will be to assist with the admissions procedure and process for the business.

  • Location: Thatcham**,** fully office based
  • Working Hours: 22 hours per week over 4 days
  • Salary - £11,282 - £12,184 per annum

As the Part Time Administrator, you will be responsible for:

  • To accurately record all initial enquiries and registration forms on the Admissions database.
  • To assist with all initial enquiries via various forms of communication and build relationships with prospective clients
  • Answer telephone calls and refer or pass on any messages as required
  • Ensure all enquiries for a prospectus are dealt with via a personalised response promptly.
  • Help manage the stock of prospectuses and literature ensuring that there is a plentiful supply ready for use as required.
  • Support the Admissions arrangements for all Events, by sending out invitations, recording attendance and sending feedback forms and recording replies.
  • Assist with the preparation of materials for Fairs and key admissions events.
  • To work closely with the Registrar to organise Assessment Days.
  • Attend any relevant meetings and any relevant external courses as recommended
  • To undertake such other tasks relevant to the work of the Department

The successful Part Time Administrator will have the following related skills / experience:

  • Strong IT skills with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite software and good general education
  • Excellent organisational skills - methodical and systematic
  • A highly professional work ethic and commitment to the role
  • Punctuality
  • The ability to work as a member of a team and perform to the highest standards
  • A 'can do' mentality and a willingness to roll up your sleeves and to assist with some of the hands-on practical roles in the department
  • Good judgement and be able to show initiative/common sense
  • An ability to work unsupervised using your own initiative and to work quickly and calmly under pressure
  • Honesty, trustworthiness, and reliability
