This role offers an ideal first step into a Head of-level position for someone currently working in a sales-driven contact centre at management level.
- You'll be responsible for providing constructive and inspirational leadership to two direct reports at Team Lead level, driving a high-performance sales strategy to support business targets.
- Oversee the quality and performance of the pipeline delivered to field sales, ensuring strong alignment between teams.
- Foster a culture of success and continuous improvement, supporting day-to-day management to maintain high service levels.
- Develop and implement sales training programs to elevate team skills and performance within the telesales function.
- Monitor performance metrics and provide targeted feedback to promote continuous development and progression.
- Champion high retention, engagement, and growth across your teams, supporting all areas of people leadership, including performance management, absence, and career development.
- Collaborate closely with field sales counterparts to ensure seamless development and delivery of the sales offering from initial contact onward.
- Identify opportunities to expand the customer base and increase sales, aligning these efforts with organisational objectives.
- Manage operational costs within agreed budgets, ensuring financial efficiency in all areas.

Profile
A successful Head of Telesales should have:
- A solid commercial leadership background within a contact centre operation
- Proven experience managing teams in a sales or outbound environment
- Flexibility to travel within the Northern region, at least twice per week
- Demonstrated leadership success in telesales or customer service settings
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Offer
- An estimated salary range of £54,000 - £58,000 per annum.
