Senior Internal Auditor - Insurance Broker

A global Insurance Broker are actively hiring a Senior Interner Auditor to join their London office working closely with the Senior Manager, the co-source partners and the broader risk, compliance and legal functions.

The organisation have been building out their corporate governance teams over the last 18 months and are now in a position to scale the audit function and hire someone to play a key role in the ongoing development of the function globally.

  • Perform end-to-end financial, operational and compliance internal audit reviews
  • Work closely with senior stakeholders to monitor the status of audit corrective actions and follow up with stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of identified issues and deficiencies and proactive escalation as needed.
  • Help coordinate and work alongside co-source partners.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of internal audit and risk initiatives at a global level.
  • Champion a culture of transparency, integrity, and accountability, promoting awareness of the importance of risk management, internal controls and compliance throughout the organisation.
  • Stay abreast of audit changes, as well as regulatory developments and industry trends impacting the insurance sector.

You must be;

  • PQ or Qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIA)
  • Proven experience in an Internal Audit role within Insurance/Broker is essential
  • Excellent time management skills, ability to prioritise and work across different projects.
  • Be energetic, self-motivated and possess excellent interpersonal skills

Salary is £70k - £80k (depending on experience) + bonus, benefits and hybrid working.
