This is a unique and exciting opportunity in the South Somerset area for a New Business Manager working within the Property Finance industry with Monday to Friday 9-5pm potential Hybrid working and a competitive salary of £40-50,000 per annum. This salary is negotiable depending on the candidate.
Our client is a short-term property finance company dealing predominantly in development and bridging finance which they finance internally through private investment. The purpose of the role is to create and convert enquiries into new business (i.e. loans). They are seeking a new business manager to work from their Ilminster office and from home covering the UK, carrying out the following:
- Generating new business enquiries and field internally generated enquiries
- Appraise new loan applications (assessing potential flaws and risks)
- Carry out remote desktop valuations and appraisals on properties to be secured
- Carry out physical valuations (RICS not required) & property inspections across England & Wales including stage inspections at small development sites.
- Meeting customers on site / at the subject property - This will include occasional overnight stays
- Carrying out own marketing
- Networking
- Reporting directly to directors
The majority of the work will be office based but travel across England & Wales likely to be a couple of times per month and all expenses will be paid.
The ideal candidate that we are looking for will have extensive property experience in the Commercial, Surveying, Valuing or Auctioneering sectors. We are looking for at least 10 years current UK property experience and someone who is polished, professional and able to manage your own diary efficiently as well as work well as part of a small and close-knit team. You would need to own your own car and be able to travel and work away when required. You would also need to be living within commuting distance of Ilminster.
