The Role
My client is looking for an experienced Health and Safety & Environmental Leader to take responsibility for making sure that employees are adhering to strict health and safety standards on site. You will be responsible for performing risk assessments, dealing with accident reports and putting in place measure to make sure the site is a safe as possible. The candidate will have some Health & Safety Formal qualifications - NEBOSH, IOSH etc you will also be responsible for dealing with the Environmental issues as well as ensuring that the site is as environmentally friendly as possible. The ideal candidate will have worked within manufacturing, preferably with chemical, FMCG or heavy. There is a huge scope and variety on offer so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.
