Business Centre Manager - Dubai
£50,000 basic, up to £16K OTE

Our client is the UK's largest and long-established after-school support providers of personalised, maths, English and science programmes based on the National Curriculum. Demand for supplementary support in Dubai is currently surging at an all-time high, as parents look to provide additional support for their children.
An exciting opportunity has become available for Maths/English/Science teachers to become a Centre Manager based in a Dubai.
The successful Centre Manager will be a motivated individual but more importantly, will have a desire to help children reach their full potential, knowing the significance to both parents and students of giving children a helping hand when they need it.
Business Centre Manager Key Responsibilities:
- Day to day running of the centre in Dubai including the smooth running of the weekly classes, scheduling the rotas for staff and students.
- Understand the Math, English and Science curriculum.
- To proactively contribute to the growth of the centre with strategic input, development initiatives, increased student numbers and business opportunities.
- Liaise with the accounts department to ensure all invoices are raised and paid by parents.
- Consult and support parent concerns such as any complaints or queries.
- Undertake necessary training for staff joining the business
- Liaise with the marketing department by inputting ideas and assisting with bi-monthly video shoots.
- Run holiday camps
- Provide updates on student numbers
- Ensure churn percentage is kept to a minimum every term
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell additional subjects to parents.
Business Centre Manager Key Skills:
- Proven management or teaching experience
- Ideally with a teaching qualification, under grad or postgrad.
- Must have excellent Maths teaching proficiency, ideally GCSE level
- Experience with students from KS1 - KS3 level
- Experience with liaising with parents from multi nationalities
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritise work
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- Strong computer skills and proficient knowledge of office software packages
