An impressive charity with a real core passion for helping people within the local community to thrive is looking for a Qualified Financial Controller to join their Senior Finance team.
As the Financial Controller you will be responsible for providing leadership and management oversight of all accounting, control, taxation, treasury and statutory reporting matters for the business.
Main responsibilities for the Financial Controller will be:
- Management and leadership of the finance team of 5
- Responsibility for overseeing all financial transactions and management of the bank mandates
- Overseeing Financial Accounting including, fixed assets, Tax returns and balance sheet controls
- Cash flow forecasting
- Involvement with an upcoming systems implementation
You will:
- Be a fully Qualified Accountant, ACA/ACCA or CIMA
- Have previous experience working within the Charity or Housing sector
- Have previous Financial Controller and/or Finance team management experience
- Be a strong team player and someone who is able to problem solve and look at ways of improving process'
