Our client, a global electronics manufacturing company, are recruiting for an enthusiastic and skilled CNC Machinist to join their team. CNC Machinist Roles and Responsibilities:
- Setting, operating and programming and turning the Semi-Automatic Bridgeport EZ Path Lathe
- Working to and achieving set production times and targets
- Carry out quality checks on own work using various measuring equipment / gauges
- Follow operation sheets to ensure parts are progressed through the factory on time and in the correct pathway (SOP)
The ideal CNC Machinist will:
- Background in an electro/mechanical manufacturing environment with experience of Defence/Military & Civil Aerospace products
- Ability to read and understand a variety of drawings in both imperial and metric
- Experience in the use of a variety of measuring devices essential (including Vernier callipers, micrometers, height gauges, internal and external thread gauges, wire gauges etc)
- Programming experience would be advantageous but not essential
