Finance Analyst (Regulatory Reporting)

This growing rapidly growing regulatory finance team is looking for an enthusiastic individual to grow, develop and support a range of regulatory reporting and associated activities within a major FS plc. The role interfaces with a range of key business areas, you will be required to develop and support the regulatory, treasury and financial reporting frameworks in accordance with emerging good practice and regulatory expectations.

Once onboarded, you will be responsible for the following:

  • To assist in the production of the organisations regulatory reporting packs, management reporting packs, ensuring complete, accurate and timely delivery of all regulatory obligations.
  • Monitor the financial regulatory reporting requirement landscape to ensure that the suite of reporting is current and supports that development.
  • Provide support to the business in identifying the impact of new regulation on current and proposed activity.
  • Provide periodic reporting relevant stakeholders on the performance of the regulatory reporting Policy Standard.
  • To develop and maintain trusted relationships across the organization whilst ensuring high quality deliverables.
  • Maintain the procedures, interpretation documents and policies that support financial/ regulatory reporting Policy Standard.
  • Work with second and third line to ensure that the reporting framework is robust.

About The Candidate Skills:

  • Have a passion for finance, economics & business studies
  • Educated to degree level with at least 2.1 attainment grade or AAT-qualified
  • Previous financial services experience, especially within a regulatory reporting team preferred - been
  • Effectively prioritise tasks to ensure delivery meets critical deadlines
  • Confident and able to analyse and present complex information with internal and external customers
  • Data driven demonstrating the ability assimilate and utilise new information and regulatory processes.
  • Effective communication skills for written and verbal reporting and the ability to present to group meetings
  • Have experience through study or prior roles of balance sheets
  • Proficient in Excel & PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical skills
