About the Role:
We are currently seeking experienced and passionate Social Workers to join our Adult Social Care Locality Teams at Gloucester City Council. These are permanent roles offering both full-time and part-time opportunities. Our teams are supported by a robust management structure, including an Integrated Social Care Manager, Deputy Social Care Managers, Social Work Leads, Social Care Leads, qualified Social Workers, Senior Social Workers, Adult Social Care Practitioners, and an administration team.
As a Social Worker with us, you will play a vital role in listening to the people of Gloucestershire, understanding their needs, and connecting them to resources that help them live independently or with support. You'll work with individuals in crisis to help them regain control of their lives, applying your professional curiosity, strong knowledge of legislation, and commitment to high standards in social work practice.

About You:
We are looking for Social Workers who are:
- Flexible, adaptable, and creative in their practice

- Confident and clear communicators who excel in a collaborative team environment
Essential Requirements:
- A recognized Social Work qualification and current SWE registration
- Completion of ASYE program or relevant statutory experience
- Passion for working in a fast-paced environment
- The right to work in the UK
Additional Criteria for Skilled Workers:
- A minimum of 1 year's experience in an Adults Social Worker role within a statutory setting
- Current SWE registration
- Intention to relocate to Gloucestershire and transfer Certificate of Sponsorship
