Job Summary:

This company are searching for a Junior Information Security Engineer to join the dynamic team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our organization's compliance with data protection regulations, implementing data loss prevention strategies, and maintaining robust information security practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Compliance Management:

  • Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of compliance programs to ensure adherence to GDPR and other relevant data protection regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify compliance gaps and recommend corrective actions.

Data Loss Protection (DLP):

  • Implement and manage data loss prevention tools and technologies to safeguard sensitive information.
  • Monitor and analyse DLP alerts, investigate incidents, and take appropriate actions to mitigate risks.
  • Develop and enforce policies and procedures related to data loss prevention.

Information Security:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of information security policies, standards, and guidelines.
  • Monitor security systems and respond to security incidents in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure security measures are integrated into all aspects of the organization's operations.

GDPR Compliance:

  • Ensure the organization's data processing activities comply with GDPR requirements.
  • Conduct data protection impact assessments (DPIAs) and maintain records of processing activities.
  • Provide guidance and training to staff on GDPR compliance and best practices.
