About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Maths Teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) to join our school on a temporary basis. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to make a positive impact on students' learning and progress in mathematics. You will be responsible for teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4 (or KS5, if applicable), delivering engaging lessons, and supporting students in achieving their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
  • Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and promote a positive learning atmosphere.
  • Participate in department meetings, parents' evenings, and any additional activities as required.

Essential Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • A degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
  • Previous teaching experience in secondary education.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Desirable:

  • Experience teaching A-Level Mathematics (if applicable).
  • A passion for engaging students in problem-solving and critical thinking.
