Post: Service Manager
Salary: £37k-£45k
Hours: 37 per week
Reporting to the Head of Services, as the Service Manager you will ensure services are delivered consistently to a high quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Whilst maintaining current services at a high standard, identify opportunities for new service development.
- Ensure legislation and care standards are followed and ensure compliance with SSSC practice.
- Ensure staff members have the relevant support and supervision. You will support the recruitment process and continue to develop their learning opportunities.
- Financial management including audits and monitoring budgets.
- Follow health and safety guidelines by implementing and monitoring procedures and the environment. This also includes recording maintenance and medication systems.
- Ensure staff have appropriate training and are following legislative guidance.
- Create and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Preferably hold minimum SVQ Level 3. If you do not have this qualification but have relevant experience you will still be considered with the intention of attaining in future.
- Have flexibility in working on-call, overnight, weekends and adhering to a rota.
- Undertake registration with SSSC.
- Experience from a social care background and supporting individuals with complex needs
