Accounts Payable Manager

A Global Public Relations and Communications company based in Central London are looking for an Accounts Payable Manager to join their finance team.

This role will be responsible for the US entity of the business, reporting to the Finance Team leader and liaising with the Senior US Management Team. This will be a hands-on role with responsibility for the day-to-day of purchase ledger of the company.

Your duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Managing 2 junior members of the finance team.
  • Responsibility of the end to end Company Employee AMEX card expense process
  • Reviewing and allocating project expenses accurately to client accounts
  • Processing of the supplier invoices
  • Preparing payable reports and raising payment for approval
  • Ensuing bank reconciliation and cash flow reports are routinely updated
  • Accountability for the full accounts payable process and supplier Statement of Account reconciliations
  • Managing Supplier reconciliations
  • Dealing with the financial administration and required reports, both internally and to external agencies as required
  • Dealing with vendor queries via telephone and email
  • Processing supplier credit notes
  • Resolving invoice queries

The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of Accounts Payable experience, you will have experience managing a team and ideally will have experience dealing with US entities. You will also be an enthusiastic individual.
