A 12 month Interim Commercial & Technology Counsel role has opened up in the legal department of a leading global consultancy in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal advice to the firm and its clients related to exciting and cutting edge technology solutions.

Description
The 12 month Interim Commercial & Technology Counsel will be part of a leading legal team of 20 solicitors in London. They will be responsible for:
- Providing legal advice to the firm and its clients on commercial & technology matters.
- Drafting, negotiating, and reviewing commercial contracts, SaaS contracts, licenses, and other complex commercial matters
- Ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Collaborating with other members of the legal department to develop legal strategies.
- Participating in the development and delivery of legal training to the firm's employees.
- Keeping abreast of legislative changes that may affect the firm and its clients.
- Supporting the firm's commitment to quality and integrity.
Profile
A successful London based 12 month Interim Commercial & Technology Counsel should have:
- Trained at a leading law firm or in-house environment.
- Experience in commercial law, preferably both in-house & private practice
- c6+ years PQE*
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Must be able to start the 12 month contract in September.
- Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
- A deep understanding of the legal landscape and regulatory environment.
- PQE is a guideline - no level of PQE will be precluded if the minimum experience levels are met.
