We are currently seeking an Early Years Recruitment Consultant who will be responsible for finding work for early years professionals.

This is a 180 recruitment role where you will be responsible for servicing new and existing clients whilst also focusing on developing further business within an assigned patch in London and the Home Counties area. You will have the advantage of working with a team of Resourcers who will support you in recruiting the best candidates for your desk.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate relationships with education professionals to match them with suitable roles within nurseries and early years settings
  • Provide personalized support to candidates, ensuring their career aspirations are met
  • Collaborate with nurseries and senior leaders within early years settings
  • Develop expertise in educational recruitment and early years settings
  • Proactively engage in sales activities, including outbound calls and client meetings
  • Collaborate with our resourcing department who will actively recruit candidates for your desk
  • Negotiate pay rates and maintain positive candidate relationships
  • Meet financial goals and monitor job placements

Candidate Profile:

  • MUST have a strong sales ability
  • Bachelor's degree holder with a 2:1 or above
  • At least 1 year of experience in recruitment, preferably within a temporary recruitment sector
  • Understanding of the UK education system
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Presentable appearance and professional demeanor
  • Desire for a long-term career in recruitment
  • Self-motivated with initiative
  • Track record of success in both employment and education
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Relationship builder with good interpersonal skills
  • Confident in conducting interviews and engaging with senior stakeholders
  • Empathetic towards job seekers.
