Join a pioneering healthcare company with a rich history of innovation and growth. Seeking a Senior Process Engineer in Cardiff. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with Operations, Quality, and Research and Development teams to enhance manufacturing systems and implement new production processes.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Monitor existing processes to ensure they are operating at designed efficiency and output, leading corrective actions when necessary.
- Identify and implement improvements to enhance process efficiency and output as part of our Continuous Improvement culture.
- Review and modernise manufacturing systems by selecting and implementing advanced manufacturing techniques to drive efficiency and quality improvements.
- Maintain process maps and PFMEAs, regularly assessing process controls throughout the manufacturing environment.
- Collaborate with the Quality team to ensure technical specifications and process validations are timely and comply with the Site Master Validation Plan.
- Coordinate with the Engineering Manager on the acquisition of new equipment or tooling for new products or process improvements, considering project timelines for product launches.
- Support the production team by identifying and developing required operator skills to achieve team goals.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Degree/HND or equivalent qualification in an engineering discipline; HNC holders considered with exceptional experience.
- Extensive manufacturing experience in a similar role.
- Expertise in continuous improvement methods to enhance overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), quality, and reduce costs, inefficiencies, and waste.
- Demonstrated track record as a process ‘subject matter expert' with the ability to adapt knowledge to new technologies.
