Technical Support Engineer - 56151 - £26.75-£32.32/hr Umbrella (inside IR35)
Are you seeking a new challenge in the Basildon area? Jonathan Lee Recruitment is helping a collaborative company recruit a Vehicle Integration System Technical Support Engineer and the role comes with a contract rate of £26.75/hr, increasing to £32.32/hr after 12 weeks (Umbrella, Inside IR35).
The Special Vehicles team operate to deliver bespoke upfit solutions to customers to drive their business productivity.
In a typical week in this role, you will address the following tasks:
- Support the Special Vehicles teams as well as convertors by developing support documentation and processes for the Vehicle Integration System
- Researching existing documentation and validating on vehicles/simulators
- Produce customer facing help documentation detailing how the logic tool works at a fundamental level
- Develop customer application examples that build on the fundamentals to demonstrate to convertors how they can use the tool to meet their application needs, with support from the engineering team
- There may be the opportunity to deliver training on the Vehicle Integration System product across Europe, depending on the candidate
- Technical writing.
To apply for this Supply Chain Operations Specialist role, you will need the following skills, knowledge and experience:
- Video screen capture and editing
- Knowledge of electrical integration of vehicle conversions
- Experience in the automotive industry / the converted vehicle industry
- Experience of producing technical support documentation
- Experience using programming support resources such as stackoverflow
- Degree Qualified Engineer.
