Jonathan Lee Recruitment is working with a niche client seeking a General Manager on a full-time basis, who can lead and manage their luxury car business, specialising in rental and prestigious events especially within classic cars.

As a General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of their operations, ensuring the highest standards of service, maintaining their reputation as a leader in the luxury car storage and rental industry. This will involve working with high-net-worth individuals, prestigious cars brands, running a niche rental and storage operation to include P&L, strategy, operations and people management to ensure customer service and business growth.

Initially the General Manager will be expected to provide:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business and growth, expand company service, and enhance the position of the company.
  • Financial Management: Manage budgets, analysing financial data, and place effective measures to drive profitability and achieve company targets, to include debt management while providing weekly and monthly reports.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay updated with the current industry trends and technologies to proactively identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
  • Client relations: Build strong relationships with clients, understanding unique requirements and continuously delivering exceptional service that exceeds client expectations.
  • Sales and marketing: Collaborate with marketing team to execute effective strategies, promotional activities and advertising campaigns to increase brand visibility and attract new clients, to include organising company events.
  • Team management: Lead and inspire the team, instilling a positive working environment and providing support to maximise staff potential.
  • Compliance and safety: Ensure compliance with all legal and safety regulations to meet and maintain a safe and secure environment for clients, assets, and employees.
  • Facility Maintenance: Ensure that premises are impeccably maintained, reflecting a welcoming prestigious environment for customers and clients.

To apply for this General Manager role, you will need the following:

  • Have held a senior management role, ideally within the luxury automotive care industry and/or event sector.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills to maintain client relationships effectively.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and ability to problem solve to manage multiple tasks and to meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of marketing and sales to attract and retain high-profile clients.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high standard of quality and service.
  • Business acumen and financial management skills to drive profitability.
  • IOSH qualified desired.
