Job Title: S/4HANA Treasury Process Lead

Salary: Circa £75,000 dependent on experience

Location: Stevenage

Dynamic (hybrid) working: 2-3 days per week on-site due to workload classification plus some international travel

Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship

Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

The opportunity:

‘IMPACT' is the name of MBDA's Group wide change programme to implement S/4HANA, replacing a range of bespoke systems used today. This role will be responsible for ensuring a successful roll out of S/4HANA across the MBDA treasury teams in France, Italy and the UK, in addition to supporting the full implementation of S/4HANA treasury capabilities within the MBDA Group system.

The role will require working with the Group treasury teams, the IMPACT core team, the overall Systems Integrator and our banking partners. Working with and managing key stakeholders both inside and outside the business will be key to delivering a successful solution. An ability to communicate a vision for the deployment of and support the teams to learn how to maximise the new system will also be key deliverables.

While you must be able to work independently and be comfortable making decision, you can expect support from across the business, including at senior levels, to deliver this wide-ranging change programme.

  • To deliver a common set of S/4HANA Treasury capabilities to all of the MBDA National Companies, while respecting local legal and regulatory requirements, within the boundaries of the common template by acting as the key Treasury point of contact with the overall Systems Integrator.
  • Lead the Treasury input to the design and implementation of a harmonised short, medium and long-term cash forecasting process that can be implemented in S/4HANA. You will co-ordinate with others to leverage and improve a single data source that provides context and detail to add value to the process.
  • To represent Treasury within the IMPACT Finance core team and ensure that Treasury requirements are given due consideration in the roll out of the wider programme.
  • Identify opportunities to improve Treasury processes and maximise the benefits of S/4HANA within the Treasury team by working closely with colleagues to ensure high level of knowledge and understanding is achieved across the National Companies Treasury teams.
  • Work with external banking partners to deliver the Multi-Bank Connectivity capability and ensure all current and any future benefits are realised.

What we're looking for from you:

Desirable skills:

  • Experience in a Treasury role
  • Experience with S/4HANA and/or other SAP products, ideally with Treasury relevant elements
  • Ability to define and articulate a vision
  • Experience in a large multi-national company
  • Ideally able to speaks French and/or Italian
  • Proactive and assertive in an International Setting
  • Excellent communication and planning skills
  • Comfortable making decisions for change, where limited information may be available
