Position: Group Acccountant
Location: London
Salary: £60k + Bonus
The Role:
Communciate is currently working with a FTSE 250 company within the tech sector. They are actively recruiting a qualified Group Accountant with strong PQE to join the team and report to the head of Group Reporting.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assist the Head of Group Reporting in all aspects of financial and statutory reporting as required
- Provision of technical accounting advice, including the drafting of accounting papers and policy documents
- Preparation of timely and accurate monthly and quarterly consolidated information for variety of stakeholders
- Assistance with audit and preparation of Group and subsidiary statutory accounts
- Contribute to ongoing programme of continuous process improvement
- Assist in Group month and quarter end close and consolidation
- Development of a good working relationship with finance teams across the global business
- Preparation of financial information for ad hoc management requests
- Participate in various Group led projects as required
About You:
- ACA qualified - preferably with Big 4
- At least 2 years PQE
- Extensive knowledge of IFRS essential (in global context (eg multinational/Large Private or PE etc)
- Strong technical accounting knowledge with experience in addressing complex accounting issues
- Experience working in a fast paced environment, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Good interpersonal skills
- Strong Excel skills
- Good attention to detail and analytical skills and a can do attitude
