Our client are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Risk & Compliance Officer to join their expanding team. In this role, you will utilize a risk-based approach to ensure adherence to our sales processes by auditing mortgage adviser calls. This is a critical position aimed at identifying trends and mitigating risks related to the advice provided to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Audit calls made by mortgage advisers, ensuring they adhere to set criteria and maintain a record of the audits.
- Provide detailed feedback to advisers and line managers to ensure clients receive accurate and compliant advice.
- Identify trends in call audits to proactively address and mitigate potential risks to the company.
- Ensure all advice given aligns with regulatory standards and company policies.
- MI Report writing
Requirements:
- Extensive knowledge of second charge mortgages and the mortgage advice process.
- Ideally CeMAP qualified.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional listening skills.
- Highly organized and able to work independently as well as part of a compliance team.
