Maintenance Assistant

About The Role
You'll be responsible for co-ordinating the maintenance and repair of buildings and services, plant machinery and equipment at a key client site.

You will be working Monday to Friday, on a casual basis.

Duties:

  • Site Assistant cover across 3x schools.
  • Casual position to cover sickness, holidays & vacancies.
  • Working as part of the site Maintenance team will need to provide efficient and effective support to the building.
  • The Site Maintenance Assistant will work in conjunction with the Site Manager and as instructed, ensure a safe working environment by complying with H&S regulations in both their approach.
  • First line maintenance of fixtures and fittings.
  • Setting up and clearing away furniture.
  • Painting and Decorating.
  • The un-blocking sinks, toilets, traps and waste pipes.
  • Any other reasonable duties within the overall function of the job as requested by your Line Manager.

To succeed in this role you will need:

  • Experience in a similar role role
  • Knowledge of plumbing desirable
  • Strong technical skills
