A reputable international company based in Manchester City Centre is looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis, based from their head office. This organisation has grown annually, and is projecting further plans to expand and grow the organisation.
Your new role
In your new role as Accounts Assistant, you will report to the Group Financial Controller and play a key role in the finance team
Day to day duties include
- Ensuring timely and accurate daily finance processing requirements.
- Processing accurate and timely invoices, supplier payments and statement reconciliations alongside reconciling incoming invoices
- Identifying discrepancies and resolving them.
- Process bank payments, bank reconciliation and receipts.
- Also involve sales ledgers, raising customer invoices and cash allocation alongside some credit control.
- You will assist with processing employee expenses
What you'll need to succeed
- You will have worked in a similar role previously
- Have a strong understanding of a fast-paced, high-volume purchase ledger role.
- An intermediate level of Excel knowledge is highly preferential, including Vlookups and pivot table
- A good understanding of working across multiple foreign currencies.
What you'll get in return
In return for this, you will be offered a generous salary package between £24,000 - £27,000 per annum dependent on your level of experience. Your benefits package will include enhanced holidays, hybrid working, flexible working and the chance to develop and progress your career in Finance.
