Job Opportunity: Gas Compliance Officer
Location: Rosyth / Glasgow - Full Time
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent, 40 hours per week
We are seeking a Gas Compliance Officer to join our team, overseeing gas safety across sites in the Rosyth region. This role is integral to ensuring compliance with safety standards and supporting the efficient delivery of gas-related maintenance and projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compliance Oversight: Conduct quarterly site visits to ensure gas safety management plans are being adhered to, working closely with on-site teams on various gas projects.
- Gas Permits: Issue Gas Permits to Work and supervise the safety management of all gas activities.
- Maintenance Support: Perform yearly network maintenance, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of gas networks.
- Risk Assessments: Develop risk assessments and method statements, contributing to safety programmes and ensuring compliance with statutory and mandatory maintenance requirements.
- Support Services: Provide technical advice and support to end-users and estate teams, facilitating the development and timely completion of maintenance tasks.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Must hold valid Commercial Gas Tickets.
- Driving Licence: Full UK driving licence is essential.
- Experience: Prior experience in gas network management is beneficial but not essential.
- Security Clearance: Applicants must be able to obtain local security clearance.
