I am looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant with experience in Construction or Property Industry. If you're looking for to join a scaling company paving the way in the construction sector then this is the role for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process supplier invoices, prepare payment runs, issue customer invoices, and track incoming payments.
- Financial Record-Keeping: Enter financial transactions, reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions, and maintain the general ledger.
- Expense Management: Process employee expense reports and manage petty cash.
- VAT Compliance: Handle VAT calculations and submissions.
- Payroll Support: Assist in payroll processing and maintain payroll records.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing financial reports and maintaining documentation.
- General duties: Support the finance team with filing, data entry, handling correspondence and other ad-hoc finance tasks as required.
Requirements:
- Experience within the Accounts Assistant role
- Experience within the Construction or Property Sector
- Proficiency in Excel, Sage and ideally Eque2
- Currently studying AAT/ACCA or qualified by experience
