We are looking to recruit 2 x summer placements to support our newly established risk function as Risk Assessment Administrators to work at The Royal Mint, based in Llantrisant, CF72 8YT. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience working at a forward-thinking, world-renowned company.
This is a full time and temporary Contract for 2-3 months and would be ideal for a student studying in a Risk Management degree or related, although this is not essential.
Pay rate and shifts as a Risk Assessment Administrator:
- Hourly rate: £11.44 per hour
- Monday to Friday: 8am to 4pm
Duties will include:
- Review the existing Royal Mint policies against the Risk Universe
- Identify any policies that are missing and construct the missing policies (under supervision!)
- Draft a standard template for policies which identifies the key controls, is simple to understand and outline what people need to do to comply with the policy.
- Organise Royal Mint policies into a policy framework which is easily accessible on the internal website
- Provide a summary of the key controls across all policies which can be used for assessment.
Skill and experience required:
- Someone with a Risk Management degree or related ideally but no essential.
- Strong administrative experience
- IT literacy (Microsoft 365)
- Policy Writing - With the aid of subject matter.
- AI tool experience - First draft
- Setting up guidance for everyone to follow
