Job will be very varied and can be tailored around the successful candidates skill set:
Responsibilities and duties:
Handling a portfolio of clients
Assist on audits (approx. 20%) reporting to audit
Supervise and train audit trainees during assignments
Preparation of incorporated and unincorporated accounts using CCH/Iris/XERO software
Preparation of corporation tax computations using CCH/Iris software
Preparation of client accounts from incomplete records
Preparation and submission of VAT returns
Preparation of monthly management accounts
Completing assignments within agreed time budget
Keep technically up to date
Liaising directly with clients
Build a strong rapport with clients
This is a great role for an individual studying AAT/ACCA or ACA and seeking a move. You will have at least one years' experience gained in an accountancy practice.
Alexander Kaye work across Nottingham, Derby, Lincolnshire, Leicester, Burton and Mansfield. We work with a large selection of practices from Top 10 firms to small partnerships. Recruiting across the board from AAT Trainee, Semi-Senior, to Audit Manager and Partner/Director level.
