Business Analyst / QMS Consultant – Quality Management System Project / ISO9001
£500 - £600 PD (Outside IR35)
Overview:
An excellent opportunity has arisen with a leading international shipping organisation, renowned for their commitment to excellence, innovation, and customer satisfaction. They are embarking on an ambitious project to implement a state-of-the-art Quality Management System (QMS) from the ground up and to achieve ISO9001 accreditation. This is a unique opportunity to join an established organisation on a greenfield project and take ownership for establishing the requirements of the system, implementation, and delivery into BAU.
Role and Responsibilities:
System Review and Process Mapping:
- comprehensive reviews of current quality management practices and systems
- existing processes and identify areas for improvement and integration
- detailed process documentation and workflows
- and develop a robust Quality Management System tailored to the company's needs.
- the system aligns with ISO9001 standards and industry best practices.
- with IT and other departments to integrate the QMS with existing systems (Dynamics)
Project Planning and Management:
- the end-to-end project lifecycle for the Quality Management System implementation.
- detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
- with stakeholders to define project scope and objectives.
ISO9001 Accreditation:
- and guide the company through the ISO9001 accreditation process.
- and implement policies and procedures to meet ISO9001 requirements.
- internal audits and coordinate external audits with certifying bodies.
Training and Knowledge Transfer:
- and deliver comprehensive training programs for staff on the new QMS.
- and train a dedicated staff member to manage the system post-implementation.
- ongoing support and mentorship to ensure smooth transition to business-as-usual (BAU) operations.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- experience as a Business Analyst or similar role, preferably in the shipping or aviation industry.
- experience in implementing Quality Management Systems and achieving ISO9001 accreditation.
- understanding of process mapping, quality standards, and best practices.
- project management skills with the ability to lead complex projects
- degree in Business Administration, Management, Information Systems, or a related field.
Contract Terms:
- London / Hybrid (4 days onsite)
- £500 - £600 PD (Outside IR35)
